The Message:

open_bibleThe beginning of every school year marks the start-up of new ministries at Kettle Falls Community Church designed to advance our ongoing growth as Christians. Bearing fruit spiritually glorifies our Father and is evidence of our discipleship progress. We believe that “bearing fruit” is a direct result of healthy “roots”.  A. W. Tozer once wrote:

“The bough that breaks off from the tree in a storm may bloom briefly and give to the unthinking passerby the impression that it is a healthy and fruitful branch, but its tender blossoms will soon perish and the bough itself wither and die. There is no lasting life apart from the root.”

In the Bible we learn that the godly have deep roots.  “The root of the righteous will not be moved” (Proverbs 12:3).  We read that the godly are well rooted and bear fruit.  “The root of the righteous yields fruit” (Prov. 12:12).  In God’s eternal purpose we’ve been planted in the little valleys of Colville and Kettle Falls Washington.  He wants us to bear fruit and impact our area for Christ.

“Therefore as you have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him, having been firmly rooted…” (Col. 2:6-7a)  Let’s pull together, sink our roots into the rich soil of His Word and watch Him bear the promised fruit that honors His great name.  On behalf of the Servant-Elders,

Pastor Tony
